Why don’t schools care about Black history month anymore?
I don’t know if this happens at your school, but every february at my school, no one bothers to put up posters or anything. Teachers, besides the black ones, don’t even bother to talk about black history. It’s kinda upsetting since i’m black and would like to have this material discussed in the classroom. And then when we do talk about some black history, people start making jokes and say i don’t care about that.

Having a month devoted to blacks, is segregation. If you want to know about history of any race, you should look it up on your own time or wait until it is taught as a unit in school. And not just a yearly thing only for people of that race.

I don’t know, but I think they should have history courses on all races. Whether people like it or not, every race has contributed alot to what America is today. We are so diverse, and that’s what makes are country they best in my opinion.
