Why do we still have ‘black history month’?

It seems racist that we still do black history month. Since people are always harping on not hurting anyone’s feelings and all, it seems like by now we would have either gotten rid of black history month altogether, or added whie history month, hispanic history month, asian history month, ect. We have been working for so long to show that all races are equal, but singling out blacks like that just seems to show sepatation.
