What is the history of propaganda, how is it effective, and who uses it?

I’m need to answer these questions for homework which is due tomorrow and I can’t find it anywhere! Please can someone help answer the following questions

3. Who uses Propaganda?

    Guess propaganda started in the caves when cavemen began drawing themselves in idealized forms and body parts.

    How is it effective? There were several marriages annulled because on the wedding night, the groom found that the bride wasn’t as plump as her gowns suggested. There were things called sausage rolls which made a woman look fat. Being heavy meant one ate well. Eating well meant one had the money to do so. Skinny wasn’t in, yet.

    Who uses propaganda? Every government in some form or another. Example: Bush administration finally admitted that we were in a slight economic downturn. Duh!

    Who else uses it? The old joke is the guy at the beach who stuffs a sock in his swim suit to the girl who stuffs her bra.
