How to delete history from flash drives?

In my internet address bar of I start with G:, it shows I have been looking at my resume from the flash G drive. How can I prevent someone at work form seeing this and delete these entries/history if they get on my computer?

    Depends on your account permissions at work.
    If you’re allowed, in Firefox its tools clear private data
    In IE its: tools Internet Options Browsing history delete
